War and Worship

Ps. 65:4 Blessed is the one you choose and bring near,
to dwell in your courts!
We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house,
the holiness of your temple!

I have been at the fair, in a booth, for the last 2 days. It has been a very long time since I have been to the fair.

Since I have been thinking about orphans and Ethiopian villages, it is difficult for me to watch people going back and forth with all the things that they go to get at the fair. Past that, there is so little spiritual encouragement at the fair. So many lost, blind souls walking by, talking about granite being millions of years old. It is spiritual warfare.

Yesterday, about 9p, I was thinking how good it would be to be refreshed with God's people today at the wedding and then tomorrow on His day. We are made to worship and we are made to worship corporately. Just imagine, and we really can't, what it will be like when we get to Heaven and there are no more hassles, no more distraction and we can just worship our Savior.

Until that day, we need to encourage one another with songs, hymns and spiritual songs and make melody in our hearts toward God. Let's do that today.
