Graduation Day

Prov. 10:1 A wise son makes a glad father,
but a foolish son is a sorrow to his mother.
15:20 A wise son makes a glad father,
but a foolish man despises his mother.
23:24 The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice;
he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him.


Today Grant is graduation. It is hard to believe that he is done with this chapter of his life in just a few hours.

God has done an amazing work in his life; he is not perfect but God has shown Himself faithful to drawn yet another of His children to Himself.

What are the things I really enjoy about Grant?
He loves God and loves to learn. He thinks about things before he does them. He is always trying to figure out a way to do it better. He defends the weak. He doesn't laugh easily, so if he does laugh you know it must be funny. His eyes light up when he smiles. He doesn't need to talk all the time, yet he is not aloof. He loves his family. He is a loyal friend. He is not looking to see how much wealth he can accumulate. He works hard and yet knows how to relax. He is not afraid to tell others where they are falling short, even if that means they will not be happy with him for a time. He likes people, especially little people.
